I am currently looking for a Live-in Attendant/Caregiver. I am a woman with Muscular Dystrophy based in Northern California in the heart of the wine country, and just 40 minutes from San Francisco.

I graduated with my masters in Film and Social Change. I developed my career as a Motivational Speaker. For these reasons, it is necessary that you are organized and professional.

Please be advised this is not a caregiver position for an elderly client, and the job is based in Petaluma, California.

Work activities would include but are not limited to:
- Dressing, bathing, grooming, and transfers
- Cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping
- Running errands
- Certain business admin tasks
- Driving me to and from various work and social related appointments/activities

You will have varying amounts of free time throughout the day and night, but would need to be flexible and accessible even on days you are not scheduled. Typical work week should consist of four straight days, but may change periodically.

Candidates should be honest, reliable, caring, have a clean driving record, be smoke free, and able to operate independently and apply their own initiative. You need to be medium height to tall and physically fit to be trained to do lifts. Female preferred.

This is a live-in position that will pay a competitive monthly salary of $2,600 per month and cover some basic food and living expenses.
