Furnished room with sink in rooms and shared bath in the Savoy Hotel in downtown Trinidad. Utilities, hotel library and laundry included. Park your car; the Savoy is an easy walk to restaurants, galleries, bars, parks, community theaters, the river, the bike trail and the community food coop.
Trinidad is on I/25 200 miles south of Denver. It is surrounded by Fishers Peak, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Trinidad Lake with the Santa Fe Trail and Purgatoire River running through town. The town is full of history and character. The Amtrak stops in Trinidad on its way from Chicago to LA.
At 6,000 feet elevation, Trinidad has a wonderful climate with over 300 sunny days per year. Four real seasons, none too harsh. Spring and summer days are typically warm with cool evenings.
Trinidad is very artist and musician friendly and is a designated Colorado Creative District. The Savoy Cafe is available for jam and practice sessions as well as small private concerts. Rooms with private baths may also be available. A recording studio in the building is currently being outfitted.
