We are a progressive metal drummer and guitar player in our early to mid 20's from Snohomish County renting a rehearsal space at Vortex Rehearsal Studios in Mukilteo. We are looking for a bassist who wants to be more like a second guitar player and has a bit of expirience. The majority of songs I write as a guitar player are a bit more progressively influenced as some of my major influences are bands like Tool/Rush/King Crimson/Pink Floyd. I have been in jazz-band playing guitar and have taken classes in music theory and recording. I am also influenced by metal bands like Arch Enemy/At The Gates/Gojira/Lamb of God/The Faceless and various classic rock bands of the 70s-80s. My drummer has the same influences though he is more into the heavier stuff.
