Looking for actors to Star in Student Thesis Film (Nashville)
Hey there, my name is Ben Danter, I'm currently on the lookout for 4 actors to fill the lead and side roles for my thesis film which production will take place in the next 6-8 weeks.
The Roles:
Dave Burrows - A late night radio talk show host in his mid 40's. He dresses in a wrinkled, white button down with a black tie, but the tie sits loose and his top button is always undone. He has short dark/black hair that is peppered with grey and you can really see his age in the eyes which are in a constant state of heavy/drained.
Detective Harris/Caller - A police detective who suffers from insomnia and listens to Dave's show. Harris begins stalking and murdering people in the late hours and calls Dave's show to talk to him about one of the killings (this is what the script primarily revolves around). Must be late 40's-50 years old and have a very creepy/monotonous voice.
Steve - 30 years old, average looking guy. He is the producer for Dave's show and has just a few lines with Dave.
Female Student/Woman - In the role of the female student I'm looking for someone who looks 19-25, and is in decent shape. Must be okay with having one foot tied to a bed. In the script the 'Caller' stalks and murders the female student, but the act is never seen. Just a shot of her foot tied to the bed. The Woman part of this role is speaking only. It's just a few lines that are spoken to Dave as a caller to his show.
