I am looking for someone who can both sing and play lead guitar (or possibly rhythm or bass guitar). If you are in the tenor vocal range and can sing lead and/or harmony, that is a big plus. If you also like to write songs, that is a possibility, too. I have been gigging steadily, in Middle Tennessee, for the last 11 years, in small venues, such as restaurants and lounges. I sequence the entire rhythm section on a keyboard (by playing, no programming, ever) then play along on guitar and sing. I need someone to add lead guitar and do about half of the singing. My band is just me and a female singer, who sings on about some of my songs. I do almost all cover songs but I do some writing, too. I have a 24-track recorder here at the house. Here is the deal. I am newly retired, from my day job. I plan on doing a lot more music, now. I need someone who is familiar with tunes from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I also need someone who is dependable and will show up for rehearsals and gigs. I would like to get together once a week, at my house, for rehearsals. I have all the hookups, spare amps, mics, music stands, etc., so you wouldn't have to bring much with you. I will split the proceeds of any gigs 50/50 with you. We're not talking about getting rich, here. I played a 2 hour gig last Saturday night and made $90, just to give you an idea. I play because I love music.
