We move apartments, homes and offices. We have 3 trucks to handle any job any size. Local and Long Distance.
If you do your homework and research you will find my services and Prices to be right on. To Do Business the right way costs $$.
There are many TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE deals out there and I am writing this to explain many common pitfalls people have when hiring a mover.
#1 Make sure they are LICENSED and INSURED. They must be licensed with the Department of Transportation with a USDOT # and an MC #.
To Find out go to the Federal Website FMSCA.dot.gov. Here you should find their license status, INSURANCE LISTED ON FILE, and see if they really have cargo Insurance to protect your belongings and what the limits are. This is very important because if they don't have these in place, which cost a company a lot of money to have, you might end up on channel 3 or 5 trying to get your money back by scamming movers.
#2 Make sure they are active members of the BBB. Also check for how long. There are many companies that I know of, who have been in business for a while but they keep changing their name to avoid a bad BBB report. So when you look them up they look clean but are really not. They are the ones who advertise for unrealistic pricing.
#3 Workmens comp. Every company must provide this policy for you. Our drivers carry a copy of this with them. Many companies do not have this policy. By the way, many of those companies hire day labor and pay them very little. You have no idea who is in your house and holding all your familys belongings. Also if someone gets hurt at your residence and they dont have this policy, guess who pays.
#4 Upcharges!!! They tell you 45 dollars an hour for 2 movers and a truck. What they DON"T tell you is if you have stairs you get chrarged, to use shrink wrap you get charged, large tv's have a charge, stopping at more than one location you get charged, each appliance you get charged, dissassemble and reassemble you get charged, it goes on and on. THE DRIVER GETS COMMISSION TO DO THAT!! They usually keep your high valued items on the truck untill you PAY THE BILL!!!!!!
We do not operate like that. We only will charge extra for pool tables and baby or grand pianos.
#5 Taxes???? Ther is no tax for labor. I have seen in too many times and it is just wrong. They just pocket your money.
#6 Fuel Surcharge?? They charge you a Trip Charge which is supposed to cover their fuel and time expense from their warehouse to you location and back which is correct, but the they charge you an extra fuel charge at the end.
We normally do charge a Trip Charge, but if you hear about us on Craigslist, which provides me with FREE advertising, I pass the savings on to you and do without the Trip Charge, so make sure you mention Craigslist!!!
Keep in mind, my #1 priority during a move is to earn refferals from you. Refferals are very important in the moving industry.

I charge by a flat hourly rate, no extra charges. NO TRIP CHARGES!!!! FOR LOCAL MOVES ANYWHERE IN THE VALLEY. Outside the valley will have a Trip Charge
For 2 men $65.00/hour comes with 26 foot truck
For 3 men $79.00/hour comes with 26 foot truck
4 men and 2 trucks/ 119.00/hour
6 men and 3 trucks/ 169.00/hour
ESTIMATES ARE FREE, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE A FLAT RATE PLEASE CALL.
All moves come with 26' truck, 4 dozen moving pads, dollies and tools. Truck has a 2500 lb lift gate and ramp. We will disassemble and reassemble all your furniture as needed.
We are expert loaders and know how to maximize any space to fit everything right.

We can also load or unload your truck or pod.
There is a 3 hour minimum for all jobs.

We have storage as well. Cost depends on the size you need. You pay month by month, no contract needed. Air Conditioned to 78 degrees.
You can also buy boxes and supplies from us at the company cost price NOT retail price if you are moving with us.
