Looking for Musicians who enjoy SkaReggaeNola (New Castle)

I'm just looking generally to gather contacts/jam with musicians of similar interest. I'm a 40 year old musician who currently fronts/manages a largely 60's/70's feeling Ska/Reggae/Nola influenced band called the Bullbuckers as a lead singer/bassist. I enjoy fusing sounds of music that feel good to me from the Skatalites to the Meters. The band is charted for a four piece horn section (Trumpet, Trombone, Alto, Barry) with over 50 songs and has received multiple international songwriting accolades from the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, UK Songwriting Comp, Great American Songwriting Comp, and more.

Writing music is a passion of mine and I strive to always incorporate it. I really don't consider myself a better or worst songwriter than anyone I just feel lucky to have had good production on my album and to have struck a chord with the judges. The band has been lucky enough to receive some national press, a feature on NBC, and has our fourth television appearance recording in May on CTV at the Time Warner studios in Staten Island. I enjoy writing with other artists... Suffice to say it's my nature as my primary instrument is bass :) Feel free to check out the band at Bullbuckers.com. Enough about me.

This is a general call out to meet and potentially work/write with other musicians who love playing in the vein of the classic sounds of Ska, Reggae, soul, funk, latin etc. Age is not an issue, 21 up. Those who feel it know! Be it a singer, keyboard, guitar, any horn, precision, etc.

If this sounds appealing, let's link up and chat. There are positions in my current band and I'm not opposed to working a side project. I'm just generally interested in making good music, playing shows, and recording music. Currently looking to record a 2nd album as with my band. If we're vibing we can always jam at my place in New Castle, DE. Hit me up.

Cheers,

Kevin
