Lost Alaskan Husky (Troutdale) hide this posting unhide

QR Code Link to This Post Alaskan Husky- He was last seen by us out in the big fields by the power lines and picnic table mid park. Was seen multiple times after that along the river trail between the power lines and sandy beaches. There was conflicting information about seeing him on 84 headed east with a white van following him. We drove 5 miles down 84 this afternoon to rooster rock and didn't see anything. Have left clothes and food at the picnic table at the park. He is a shy boy and recently retired from running 3 iditarod's. He can run a long time and is 8 years old. Until recently he lived his whole life outside, but had started to love the indoors and we couldn't get him outside except for potty or to play. He will likely not come to you unless you crouch on the ground at his level w food. Another dog would need to be gentle- not boisterous or he might go away. Friendly with any person or Dog even when frightened- no bite risk. Challenge is keeping him safe so he can find us- and not scaring him. Please message me with any sightings. If he is headed east, he is a trail dog and will look for trails to run on if we is off I84 so he may follow the railroad.
