We lost our beloved pet and family member URSA on July 11th. She ran away from our pet sitter's yard near Joy Road and Schaefer in the Aviation Subdivision on Detroit's west side. She has a brindle coat (dark brown with orange highlights). Hair is medium length. She is an older dog with a lot of gray around the mouth and belly. She is a medium sized dog around 14-17 inches at the shoulder and weighing around 28 pounds. She was wearing a purple harness with a blue tag but we can't be sure if it's still on her. She has arthritis and may appear to be limping.

There have been possible sightings as far East as Wyoming and as far North as W. Chicago but she could really be anywhere at this point.

We are offering a large reward for any information that leads to her return. She is not at all aggressive but would probably run away if approached. If she is hungry she might come for food that is offered.

IF YOU SEE HER, JUST CALL US ASAP. YOU DON'T HAVE TO CATCH HER TO GET THE REWARD. The best thing to do would be to keep track of her until we get there and we will reward you handsomely for your time and efforts. A stranger trying to catch her would probably result in her running away where we couldn't find her.
