Luna is Two Years Old. She is spayed and fully vetted.
She was found in a state park about one year ago. She is a sweet, happy, devoted, loving, SMART dog who loves people and knows several hand signals. Because she is deaf, many people don't even want to consider her. She is food and territory possessive with other dogs and cats. She does better in a home with older kids or no kids, as younger kids forget she is deaf and scare her. (She LOVED my 10-year-old and my 16-year-old.)
Luna would be GREAT as a solo pet for an active single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. She isn't fearful or shy at all--really a happy, affectionate girl.
Luna is living in a kennel situation, and has been off and on for several months. She isn't getting the attention she needs. It's not good for her to be stuck there without enough one-on-one human interaction. She's depressed right now. :-(
We are looking for a foster or forever home for her. Whichever comes first as she desperately needs out of the boarding situation.
