Maia Yogurt (www.MaiaYogurt.com) is a fun Greek Yogurt startup company which our founder created in his NYC apt. We have grown quickly from our humble beginnings to several states and top retailers across the country including Whole Foods and the Fresh Market. We are currently hiring for start ASAP in Chicago and are looking for outgoing, confident, and reliable professionals to be the face of our brand and promote our product at local events and in grocery stores through sampling (demoing). This is a part time position with opportunity for advancement. Events last for 4 hours and we are looking for candidates who can commit to several events/week, primarily on the weekends. Ideally, candidates should be able to work regularly on Saturdays and Sundays with additional shifts available during the week (afternoons/evenings) depending on performance.

Responsibilities:

Sample product at grocery retailers and local events
Promote the nutritional benefits, story, and brand voice of Maia to consumers, Store Managers, and other key staff
Engage, educate, and excite - make Maia memorable!
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and key contacts at stores and in the community
Merchandise product on shelves and place POS materials as needed to maximize visibility
Provide post-event reports summarizing sales data and other key information
Sell product!

Qualifications:

To be a successful brand ambassador, you must be outgoing, energetic, friendly, confident, articulate, and unafraid to approach complete strangers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Able to lift 20 lbs and comfortable standing for 4 hour shifts
Have a reliable form of transportation if needed, and a clean driving record, driver's license, and insurance
Be reliable and able to work with minimum supervision
Computer/technology skills (Microsoft Office, iPhone, etc)
Passion for natural foods (esp yogurt!) and small business a plus
Multi-lingual is a plus

Be paid a competitive hourly wage + sales commission + travel + other incentives. The more you sell the more you make, so there is no cap on your earning potential!
