Colour Box Makeup Studios presents Makeup Artist Boot Camp, an intensive week of training designed for current and aspiring professional makeup artists and taught by Emmy nominee and 2015 Guild nominee Kerry Herta.
The creative force behind some of today's most memorable faces, Kerry Herta has perfected her award-winning makeup technique over 20 years on top productions in LA and New York. Considered a master of HD techniques, Kerry remains one of the industry's busiest and most respected Makeup Department Heads.
After years of mentoring young artists -- many of them poorly trained by expensive "makeup academies" -- Kerry believes that working professionals at the height of their careers are best suited to teach their craft. Through Colour Box Makeup Studios, she shares her knowledge of the most current products, tools and techniques. Beginners and working artists alike will increase their skills, confidence and knowledge of today's makeup industry.
Boot Camp I (the first 2 days of Boot Camp) is ideal for beginners and working artists with no formal training. This intensive, hands-on workshop covers basic techniques used in film, television, print, fashion and bridal:

While this rigorous workshop is designed for artists who complete Boot Camp I, artists with proven experience may qualify to enroll directly in this workshop.
