My college degree was a BA in Education with a Mathematics major. I taught mathematics in the public school system for many years before pursuing a different career path. During my teaching career, I taught at both the High School level and at the Junior High level. I taught many levels of math from the very basics through Advanced Algebra/Trig. My favorite math subjects to teach are Algebra and Geometry. Along with the subject matter, I try to incorporate in my students, the skills for being efficient in their study habits. More important than just learning the facts, is to learn the whys and theory so that the knowledge can be applied to other situations later in life.
