This cute little fella is 7 years old. Amazing right since he looks so young!! He loves to roam around outside and smell everything. If you give him a treat he will be so happy. He has had a hard life. Elvis was found emaciated and neglected. He has gained his weight back and is now doing so much better.
Elvis is not a dog that requires much attention and he is not currently a cuddle bug. All this is due to his life before now where he never got any attention at all. What Elvis needs is a family that will show him what love is and give him time to come out of his shell and become that cuddle bug we all know is deep inside him.
Elvis is a pretty low maintenance. No long walks needed. Just a soft bed, some good food, and a yard to hang out in and sniff around in. He is on HW meds, which will be paid for by rescue, so he needs to go outside more often because of this. The say you can't teach an "Old Dog New Tricks" but what about giving an older dog a new lease on life?? We can't change Elvis's past but we sure can make the present and future a great one. Elvis can be dog selective and prefers to be around females or would also do well as an only dog.
