Hello, my name is Kevin Jackson. I am a church musician who has been playing the piano for about 5 to 6 years. The Lord has blessed me to be able to not only play music by ear, but to also teach parts in a choir. As of December of this year, I am looking to play for some other various churches. I play primarily a lot of the contemporary songs but I also know how to balance it with the traditional hymns as well. I grew up in the Baptist Church but I am definitely willing to play for other denominations. I do not have a lot of degrees and I didn't attend a school for what I do but my heart is just and I feel that that alone in itself with my love for God is enough to warrant an opportunity. Compensation is probably the most trickiest part to discuss as a minister of music because it can be a double edged sword. I don't have a set amount that I charge but I will acknowledge that the church that Im currently playing for pays me $250 a Sunday. please feel free to give me a call so we can discuss your needs. thank you and God
