Dr. Gidding at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is looking for a group of healthy young adults to serve as controls for a research study.
You may QUALIFY for this research study if you:
are between 18-30 years old
are overweight with a body mass index (BMI) over 30
do not have diabetes or high blood pressure
This study CONSISTS of one study visit which lasts 2 hours and includes:
• measuring height, weight and blood pressure,
• collecting blood
• getting an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart).
COMPENSATION:
• You will receive compensation at the visit.
• A results report will be mailed to you
