need volunteers for 10th anniversary of katrina commemoration (1816 north claiborne)
the new orleans katrina commemoration foundation is working on its tenth anniversary and we need volunteers for the following:
internet team = follow up on websites, social media
levee team = assist the coordinator with needs at the levee breach
hunters team = assist the coordinator with needs at hunters field
street/promotions team = assist the coordinator with distribution of print materials
administrative team = assist the coordinator with follow up of donation and sponsorship letters
we need 5 to 10 hours a week - starting Monday, May 25 until Sunday August 30, 2015. one or two weekends and only weekday work. this project last about 10 weeks.
this is a historic project. it is great work community research project, history internship, doctorial thesis or a webdesign project. we have free tshirts.
please be apart of the work we are doing to make sure our community never forgets what happened on August 29, 2005.
