Hello and thanks for looking! What I'm really looking for is local indie film makers, perhaps a film student, to network and collaborate with. I want to help get your film a "sound" to make it everything you know it can be. What am I...who am I? I'm AM a very well seasoned songwriter, performer, and artist. I'm very hip to the film score stylings of Elfman, Zimmer, and Mothersbaugh. I'm 33 years old, have a degree from Columbia College Chicago in Audio Arts/Performance, have been playing and writing music since I was 5 years old, have ecclectic taste in music and love all kinds of it, have taught music privately, not only play guitar but also sing/play bass/drums, own and run an audio mastering/CD dupe service, and have owned commercial recording studios. I tell you this all up front because I want you to know that I love everything music and am serious about it and the arts in general. This is not a hobby or phase I'm going through, but rather a lifestyle at this point. I have made LOTS of sacrifices to keep myself an integral part of the Chicago music scene...I've released albums and gigged up a storm with a band I formed. I have a body of music we can use and add to. I want to once again surround myself with other like minded people. Heavy druggers and drinkers need not call on me...been there/done that and it doesn't work. I have lots of experience and love sharing it with others. Music is important to me, but I can't stop working to score considering I do have living costs and family/friends counting on me. I have some connections as well, but that's another story for a different time to be shared with whoever I decide to collaborate with.
