Hello, the Mighty Mo Combo the jazz/swing ensemble of the Mid America Freedom Band (www.freedomband.com) is looking for a guitar player, a bass player (stand up bass is preferred, but bass guitar would be great too). We have a busy schedule coming up this summer and fall and need some help to fill out the combo. This is a fun group to rehearse and play with. NO AUDITIONS are required; we do ask that you can read music and be 18 years of age or older. Skill levels vary within the band. Some members have played on their instrument for only a couple of years, while others have played for decades. So get your chops warmed up, and come join us. If you still are not sure, come to one of our rehearsals and play with the band with no strings attached! Rehearsals are once a week on Thursday nights at Central Presbyterian Church 3501 Campbell St. Kansas City, MO. Mighty Mo Combo rehearsal usually begins at 7:00.
