QR Code Link to This Post My client is looking for a Network Enterprise Manager for their location in Oshkosh, WI. This is a Full Time position offering salary depends on Experience
Responsibility:
• Manage and maintain WAN hardware and software across all facilities to ensure reliable communications network necessary to support business requirements.
• Be responsible for network backup and recovery plans.
• Provide hardware and software support for all PC, desktop, laptop, servers, and wireless devices, including ITEL and Mac environments.
• Manage and prioritize workload for Technical Support Specialists to ensure timely completion of projects that meet departmental goals and objectives (this includes management of consultants and vendors when utilized).
• Install, configure, and maintain organizations network, Email servers, data storage and firewalls as well as management and support of VOIP telephone switches.
• Develop and maintain standards for hardware and software support.
• Evaluate current infrastructure and recommend "best practices" improvements.
• Keep abreast of new technology developments and make recommendations regarding changes to current standards as appropriate.
• Manage sever and network security, backup and recovery, and operating system updates to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Manage/audit software licensing to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate computer hardware and software inventory records.
• Provide tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects.
Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5 + years or more of progressively increased responsibility and demanding technical experience LAN/WAN operations for Windows based applications and OS.
• 3+ years' experience with Cisco Switches/Routers and firewalls.
• 3+ years' experience with MS Active directory and Exchange 2003.
• 5+ years' experience with IP networking technologies (routing, transport, securities, and system design).
• Certification with Cisco or Microsoft a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage people effectively.
• Must be hands-on manager.
• Strong project management skills
• Must have excellent analytical problem identification and resolution skills.
• Ability to coordinate with others to maintain optimal system availability.
