Edgy Celtic Rock n Trad and anything else that influences us, like the energy evoked by Afro Celt, but our own "sound."
I am looking for serious-minded musicians with a professional approach to performance. Although I will have final say, this band is being formed with the goal of collaborating between band members being essential. You should enjoy making great music together as well as making money together -- a winning combination.
Age is not a factor if you are excellent on your instrument/instruments, and are a team player, and are responsible and conscientious. This is a performance band, so stage presence is important.
If you are interested in creating something new and fresh, this may be just what you're looking for.
I have drums/percussion covered as I play bodhrán, drum set and hand drums (search Mance Grady on youtube or check out my website at mance.com). Regarding other instrumentation, I am open to most anything if played well (keyboards, banjo, electric guitar, sax, fiddle, female vocals, etc.) I'll decide what works and what doesn't when the time comes. I'd like to be able to pull this together as soon as possible so we can start getting some work.
