I'm looking for a screenplay to produce and direct, one that can be filmed for very, very little money. I own camera & sound gear so $$ can go into everything else.
Small cast, few locations, that could be shot in 15 days or so.
I'm not particularly interested in horror/found footage, but if it's more than attractive people screaming and running for their lives, then I may be into it.
I've written a lot of no-budget films myself but have lost interest in them and feel I'm repeating myself. I'd love to work from some else's story.
As far as compensation, I'd like to negotiate. Total budget will be a tiny amount, but up-front pay is enticing so what's your asking price? And then back-end pay we can negotiate as well.
My first feature is currently making some money on Amazon, and this film would also go up there as a worst-case scenario, so it's going to make money one way or another. Best case scenario, it goes to Sundance and we all get rich.
Let's try for that, but at the very least make a solid, no-budg film.
