Keys, Bass, Rhythm Guitar/ Brush Worker, Vocal (me) sound good w/o a mic.
Feels as if I'm fishing here on CL, but I'm a patient fisherman.
Rhythm section players wanted must B fysically fit: extra sensory ears, brain, heart, ego, must exhibit patience, kindness, generosity, with a serious sense of humor, technically adept (disambiguous) at their instrument, adventurous AND MUST SWING.
This email arrived in my mailbox as a response to this post:
"WTF kinda ad is this? Are you advertising your old fart band or are you looking for an instrument player? You listed every instrument typical in a rock band (keys, bass, guitar, drums, AND vocal)...oh maybe you're the old fart LEAD guitar. More info in your ad would be nice. The vagueness implies a non-professional, run-of-the-mill type. Are you looking to do rock, blues, hard rock, metal, country; how old is "old fart"..are you freakin in your 70's or "old fart" 40's? Are you doing copies or originals? Do you have any links to video or audio of your playing? have you been in bands and played out before? What kind of gear do you own? where exactly are you etc., etc., etc., See what I mean. I hate those stupid no-info ads where people have to pry the info from the ad placer and then find out it's not what their looking for. Save yoursel and others a lot of time and please put more info in your ads. Thanks in advance for more info. Have a great day."
To the writer of the above response, I'm sure you are capable of being a nice person, I read the frustration in the above reply, good luck.

Here is the deal, their must be music makers out there that see the direction society is heading, specifically when it comes to music. The ad was written to provoke and get music makers to thinking, I'll refrain from using the term musician as the term so often gets misused.
Old farts (seasoned cats, vessels, optimists) means weary from the bullshit but holding out hope that there are still individuals that know how to create a thing of beauty because artists (musicians, etc.) regardless of medium bring beauty to the world rather than chaos.
Some of the replies I've received have proven out the point.
