We are four professional, experienced musicians (guitar, bass, drums and excellent female singer) who've started an oldies (1960s/70s) cover band out of Blackwood, NJ (just over the BF or WW bridges). We cover everything from Sam & Dave, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Beatles, early Rolling Stones, Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Donna Summers, Eagles, some Southern Rock, Gloria Gaynor, Bill Withers, some early blues, Fabulous Thunderbirds, etc., etc. We excel at upbeat R&B; think of the Fabulous Thunderbirds' "Wrap It Up," Taste of Honey's "Boogie, Oogie, Oogie," Donna Summers' "Hot Stuff," and Bill Withers' "Use Me," Beatles' "DayTripper," Stones' "Brown Sugar," Satisfaction, Jumping Jack Flash," some Fleetwood Mac, etc. We play like a blue eyed soul band. Bluesy. We don't care if you're white or black or polka-dot, so long as you have some soul and can play fluidly. We look to play once or twice per month. Rehearse weekly here in Blackwood, NJ.
