We are looking for Greek/Balkan style entertainment for our annual OPA Greek Festival on August 21st, 22nd, & 23rd. We're primarily looking for musicians to play Greek/Balkan style music and song, but are also interested in other types of performers such as DJ's, Dancers, Comics, Jugglers, and anyone else who can put on a Greek/Balkan style performance. It's a family event, so we have to keep it clean ;-)

The festival is held on the grounds of the AHEPA Lodge in Hales Corners at 10635 W. Ridge Rd. (Right off Hwy. 100 - One Block North of Grange). We have time slots available from 4pm-9:30pm on Friday, and Noon-9:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

AHEPA is a non-profit organization that funds youth sports programs, local and national Greek heritage initiatives, and community programs. Our local Milwaukee Chapter has one of the best scholarship programs in the country now in its 56th year with over $625,000 awarded.
As a non-profit we can't pay much, but each performer will receive 1 meal ticket, 2 snack/desert tickets, and 3 beverage tickets for each performance. . .plus there will be a tip jar for performers to earn some cash (we will actively encourage tipping). Performances could range from 45 min -- 1 Â½ hrs and you don't have to be Greek to perform ;-)
