The Opportunity Be part of flexible team whose services are in demand. We are hiring for our Cincinnati hub, Outside plants Fiber Construction Technicians, Operators and Lead. The Role: We rely on our technicians to bring a diverse skill set, exercise solid judgement, and collaborate well with our team in order to complete each project in a timely manner, all the while maintaining the highest level of workmanship possible.We require machine operators with experience in telecom outside plants, who can operate medium and smaller size plows, directional drills, excavators, and locates.We require a lead for our hub who can interface the customer, can survey and estimate the work in every location, schedule and manage the daily / weekly work, maintain a tracker and be locally responsible for the profit and loss. What You Bring To It Minimum of one year (more for the lead position) in outside plant work and network construction experience - installing, repairing and testing copper and fiber cable in a variety of environments mainly underground, at this point in time.Experience using fusion splicers is a plus Ability to terminate cable utilizing a variety of connectors Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills Valid driver's license and clean driving history
