Outdoor Project is seeking talented and energetic photographers, videographers and story tellers living in the western United States and Canada to add fun, informative and inspiring outdoor adventure content to the website (http://www.outdoorproject.com). Share your expertise and love of the outdoors with a rapidly growing network of outdoor enthusiasts, and show off your work on the first outdoor adventure resource that puts primary emphasis on photography and video.

Outdoor Project's content is developed in a hybrid crowd-sourced/journalistic fashion, and in order to provide the most thorough, reliable, safe, and inspiring information, Outdoor Project curates all published content.

In return for your involvement as a Contributor you will be enrolled in our Contributor Rewards Program with an opportunity to receive payment for your contributions (10% of all Outdoor Project's revenue is allocated to contributors). In addition, Outdoor Project will provide a platform where you can promote your work.

Once you are approved as a contributor, do as many adventures as you want, and the more you do, the more rewards you'll earn.

ABOUT OUTDOOR PROJECT:
Outdoor Project is an online resource for outdoor adventure and a Portland, Ore. based startup, non-profit, and community that went live in May of 2013. Essentially we've taken the traditional guidebook model, think 100 hikes in the Sierras, and moved it online, and made it way more badass. . . with a clean and easy user interface, inspirational photography and video, completely custom maps, obsessively detailed and critical information, trustworthy write-ups, and dynamic social features. At this point we have nearly 1,800 adventures and are constantly adding more. Hiking, camping, swimming holes, snowshoeing, hot springs, etc. . .. you name it, we cover it. There is something for everyone, adventures for all ability levels. Ultimately our mission is to get people outside, a lot!; exploring, and getting to know and care about this phenomenal place we call planet earth.
