I picked these guys up from a breeder going out of business. I have had them through one breeding season and there was activity in their nest boxes but no eggs laid.
The blue and green pair have leg bands for 2006, making them 9 years old, so they don't have many breeding seasons left (can live much longer) but would be good for someone who may want to try casually or just enjoy having them around. Quiet female, chatty and curious male!
The pair with 2 green and yellow pied birds have no leg bands but their age is estinated at 7 years. They're VERY active and comical!
The pair with a blue bird and yellow pied bird are 6 years old according to their bands. Also very active and have breeding seasons left if you wish to try.
All birds are healthy though the females have picked a little during their nesting behavior but nothing bad. I do not know what they might produce color wise. No cages go with them. $100 per pair, this is.
