Percy, Heeler mix, is around 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He wandered into a yard that he had been scoping out for a month .... making sure the animals there were treated well. He was skin and bones..and wary of people. After eating well and beginning to trust people Percy became a favorite treat for visiting nephews. It was only after he began chasing cattle (his natural instinct) that the people decided they could no longer keep him. Percy, who had never been in a home, has become quite the homebody...loving laps, other dogs, and a warm crate. He is a gentle soul and is now in the process of being leash trained and housebroken. Percy is neutered, heart worm negative, and up to date on.
