I am a trained photographer/ videographer with years of training and experience both in the studio and in the field.
Rates are negotiable to a point. I would like to start at $50 for an hour or two of shooting plus editing, but this be lowered or raised depending on the project. After that, $10 for every hour. I value my talents, but I understand it can be expensive.
Video will be more expensive. It takes a lot more work, and a lot more time.
