26 y/o female vocalist looking for a pianist to jam with and to create new spins on covers, and bring some of my written original songs to life. I play rhythm guitar and ukulele, but much prefer the sound of piano to my voice.
Ive been pursing music since I was a wee little one, being in multiple choirs and jazz acapella groups, so I am classically trained. I have sang for cover bands as well as other peoples original bands but, noone really listened to what I had to say in those things and Id like to grow with someone musically. Bounce ideas off each other and maybe even form a full band or get more digital as time goes on.
My main influences are Ellie Goulding, Pink Floyd, Lady Gaga, Pink, Creedence Clearwater revival, Eisley, Evanescence, etc. My interests are all over the place, and right now Id like to get started on more sultry powerful ballads, with feel good vibes. We also have to vibe with one another to figure out our exact direction we want to take.
While I am looking for talent, Im also looking for someone I can get along with pretty well(NOT LOOKING TO DATE. STRICTLY FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL). Im going to choose someone I get along with better than the most amazing pianist in the world. So, please, feel free to email me your sounds even if you arent fully confident that you are the best in the world, because Im not either. I just really want to get this started, start creating some content, going to open mics etc. And this is the first step.
