My name is Emily. I am a 33 year old former Nurse and have become a stay at home mom. I teach piano lessons in my home. I have been playing since I was a small child and I have been teaching lessons for quite a few years. I currently have 14 students of varied ages. I am very patient and love seeing growth in my students. I teach students the basics of reading music, technique, artistry, and theory. I hold piano recitals 2 times per year (January and June). I charge $10 per lesson and lessons will be 20-30 minutes in length. Students need to be 6 years of age in order to begin lessons. You are responsible for providing all supplies (4 books, notebook, and flash cards) which I will go over before the first lesson is scheduled. Lessons are held in my home, which is located in Meridian near the corner of Linder and Cherry Lane. A keyboard, or piano in your home is a must for practicing and practicing is expected. Since I only charge $10 per lesson, you will still be charged for any missed lessons unless you call or text before the missed lesson and let me know (ex: family vacations, prior engagements, life issues.... etc).
