If you are missing a pet please come to your local animal shelter and search for it IMMEDIATELY upon discovering it is missing. File a Lost report at the Shelter and check back every 2-3 days to see if your pet has turned up. Several cities in the Metro area are striving every day to maintain a "no-kill" community, but we cannot do it alone. The Shelters are FULL of owned pets that no one has come looking for which means there are no kennels available for animals who are truly in need and hard decisions are having to be made. DON'T assume that someone stole your pet so there is no reason to come looking for it.....DON'T assume your pet will find its way home on its own.....DON'T give up if your pet does not turn up in 2-3 days. Please be a part of the solution and not part of the problem. Many animals lives, including that of your pet, may rely on!
