Rambo is a dog that needs alot of work and attention. He is a biter, not with his family but with strangers. If you choose to save his life you will have to get through his aggressive tendencies. However I can truly say that once you break through that he is one of the sweetest most loving dogs you'll ever meet. He loves to flop down in our arms like a ragdoll to get belly rubs. Sometimes he'll even just drop on his back and present his stomach for petting at the site of us. But it will take time for you to see this side of him. I wouldn't recommend anyone with children to consider taking him in for your own safety. Rambo came into my position on behalf of my father, he passed away back in July of this year and Rambo has been in my care ever since. Within that time I've worked with a trainer to correct his behavior however he still displays his biting habits, the trainer has said that this is something that will stay with him forever. I'm not entirely positive if this is true or not but I don't make enough money to test out another trainer as it is quite expensive unfortunately. I'm very short on time as I will be going out of town at the beginning of next year for quite some time so I've got to find him a home quickly, or else my only other option is to bring him to the pound. Every shelter I've contacted will not take him due to his issues. I really don't want to pass on a burden to someone without being honest. He is alot of work, he will try to bite, but beneath that is a loving dog and it's because of this that it would simply break my heart to abandon him in a pound where dogs like him get put down. Please find it in your heart to help.
