I am a local aspiring poker player with a dilemma: I believe I have the know-how and the ability, but I am very short on funds lately. So there's not exactly a good way to prove myself.
-Have won an 18-person tournament at a friends house.
-Came in 4th out of 27 at Len Brocki's once.
-Came in 3rd out of 31 at a VFW
-Hopefully this means something to you: I place 1st or 2nd in single table sit-n-gos all the time on Bovada, HogWild, and nlop.com.
-Chopped at the final table recently at Forester Hall in Dayton(myself and one other individual were 1st and 2nd chip leaders) .
-Came in 9th out of 560 recently on the site HogWild.
-Just this past monday, agreed to chop 1st and 2nd $ at vfw on Wadsworth in Dayton.
Consider yourself kind of like a band's producer and let me know exactly what I need to do for a successful audition.
Also, I have a word document of many specific tips and tricks that I have found to be very useful and have added some of my own insights. Would love for you to look this over.
I guarantee you this: I am low on funds because of other factors. My finances have never suffered because of my poker playing or performance.
No band plays Radio City Music Hall their first gig. They can have the talent, but they gotta impress someone, get discovered. I'm hoping to find someone who will sit down with me and realize i know what I am doing. If you are considering this at all, I ask that you please meet me once.
