Looking for an Installer Technician with Server and POS experience.
Work hours:10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Could go through 6:00 AMin the event of a Hardware failure.
Location is in Truck stop, some miles away from the city
Job description:PC tech needed to replace / refresh Servers and POS machines. Data Transfer. Register Updates.
Job duties:Installing equipment Server and POS. Transfer data, Edit BIOS, Configure equipment, Install printers, Test equipment, Package de-installed equipment for shipping. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, Understanding of how to cut and paste files, Ability to trouble shoot network connectivity issues, Knowledgeable in editing INI files, Installation of printers, Understand how to edit a Registry entry, Understand and set DIP switches, Understand BIOS edits.
Educational requirements:High School Diploma

Required certifications:A+
Physical requirements associated with the job:Able to lift 50 lbs., walking, bending.
Preferred qualifications:RDD08 Lenovo Desktop Systems Service Training / RTD08 Lenovo Notebook Systems Service Training / RVD08 Lenovo Think-Server Training
Required tools:
Smart Phone able to take / email pictures,
Basic Hand tools,
(Cable tester being discussed with the client).
1 and #2 Phillips head screwdrivers MAGNETIC TIP
Wire cutters or cable snips
Needle nose pliers are helpful
Box cutter
Zip Ties
Dress code:Collard Polo, Dress Shirt / Pants = Kakis, Dickeys, Clean Jeans, no rips, No tennis shoes.
Start time:10:00PM.
End time:All work is to be completed by 2:00AM. In the event of a Hardware failure, the re-installation of the Old Equipment, needs to be up and running before 6.
