My name is Gaku Murata. I'm a Los Angeles based session guitarist.
I have a B.A. degree in Guitar performance and songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston and ESP Musical Academy Tokyo. I had worked at Berklee as a staff player for a couple years after I graduated from Berklee. Recently I moved to LA.
I have played many different kinds of music (rock, pop, funk, r+b, jazz, and folk), and gigged in various situations. Reading music is also my specialty. I have worked as a producer, a music director, and a guitarist. Also I'm comfortable with teaching songwriting, arranging, and recording (DAW software, MIDI, mixing, etc).
