Are you looking for a violin or viola teacher?
I am a violinist and violist with over ten years experience working with students of all ages and levels.
My approach to teaching is to help the student acquire a solid foundation of technical skills which they can readily apply to their music pieces.
I patiently ensure that the learner's use of the body is relaxed and efficient, concepts are well understood and that skills are thoroughly learned.
I use a combination of Suzuki, Sassmannshaus, and traditional method books, and I tailor the lesson materials according to each student's needs.
Most importantly, I make sure they play with a beautiful sound, and that music-making for the student is fun!
Lessons are typically in my South Philadelphia apartment - Hourly lessons are $55; children who are beginners may take 30-minute lessons at $40.
