I understand the emotional attachment that people feel for their family heirlooms. I appreciate the stories, history and memories surrounding them. These things are important to us. They are our history, our touchstones, they are like family members, they have value beyond what is monetary. I share those sentiments.

Often times, I can refinish, or partially refinish furniture without disturbing the present patina.
