I am a certified parent educator and a facilitator/trainer for child care providers. I specialize in early child development (prenatal through age 18 encompassing neuroscience with the four domains of development). I specialize in Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), which is especially effective with children ages 2-7 who are showing emotional and behavioral difficulties. I am offering staff development as well as parent education. My workshops contribute to professional development hours and/or Parent education. Topics include, but are not limited to the following:

2. Effective discipline
3. Positive reinforcement to improve behavior
4. Anger management for children
5. Stress management for teachers
6. Resources for teachers
7. Using time out effectively
8. How to talk so children will listen

11. Typical or troubled behavior in children--knowing the difference
Each of these topics can be broken into sub-topics which can fine tune many skill-sets. If you feel that your staff and/or your parents have needs that must be met, but are not listed here, please feel free to discuss with us and we will be more than happy to customize classes for your center.
Price: 1 training is $90.00 for 1 hour of education; 2 hour sessions will be $160.00. Useful resources are given to participants for each training. A question and answer session is provided to ensure clear understanding. I am available for clarification and additional questions via phone, email and if necessary, a follow-up visit.
