Professional Grant Writer with 10 years Experience (Newark)

I started my education of how non-profits work, financed and the cost for the running of the your organization. I received a full academic scholarship from a certain foundation and with the scholarship came a part time internship (paid) and I started just answering phones and copying financial statements and of coarse the filing. After about 1 year of working there I got the opportunity to work on the volunteer service donation which was every 40 hours you would volunteer for a non-profit the foundation would donate $500 per 40 hours capping at $4,000 for the year. So now I went into the database, entered information, printed out the signature page with supporting documents to be signed by an ESVP that was in charge of the finances of the foundation. During this time every quarter is was to educate myself by taking classes on grant writing, computer software and even how to dress on the situation and finally getting donations to AP and receive a check for the non-profit and if they were local would deliver the check so I got to meet a ton of non-profits executives and they allowed me to pick their brains. I was educated in just about every aspect of non-profits like first get the non-profit status with the IRS, finding a bank that would have good banking practices and low or no fees for an account and of coarse finding funding from organizations who are located in your state and for me coming from the second smallest state in the United States you run into people that you can network with and perhaps persuade businesses to donate either volunteer time or cash donations. One of the foundations biggest client was and still is the Ministry of Caring and Brother Ronald built a brand new church and started over 20 programs to help the low income people, assisting these people find homes or dental work for little or no cost to the person. I did graduate from the University of DE with a B.S in Resource Economics with a minor in French and I just graduated from Kaplan University in Davenport, IA with my MBA with a minor in Economics and I did this about one year and yes it was done all online (I think is harder then a physical school because you really have to motivate yourself to do the work). My final GPA was 3.85 out of a 4.0 scale and made Dean's list seven times. Right now I am trying to start my own business and I have been working to get financed from venture capitalist like the show Shark Tank (on ABC) but I want the majority shares of ownership unless I get fully funded. So in my spare time I write grants for friends on mine that work for non-profits and I submit them to Foundations and of coarse to the United Way of DE. My stats are as is out of 12 grants I have written 7 of them have been approved and now the real work is ahead because now the non-profit has to do the physical work and follow the financial planing I came up with so the organization can do great deeds. So I am currently looking for part time employment not asking for a huge salary just need to work about 25 hours a week with a price tag of $11.50 an hour, I can work from home and use my own software and I will pay my internet bill and phone with no reimbursement. I love to work and see what a person vision can come true with the right kind of assistance. I would love to meet you and show you so examples and I will be honest you will have to sell yourself to me because when you meet these big Foundations you must sell yourself to them, my reports will get you into the door and you need to close it in a reasonable amount of time. Shoot me an email and tell me about your organization perhaps you have a website already and provide me with the link. Thank you for your!!!!
