-B.M. in Performance and Songwriting Berklee College of Music (in Boston) 2005
-Berklee College of Music Achievement Scholarship recipient 2001~2004
-Winner of Berklee Songwriting Achievement Award 2003
-Appearances on TV and radio shows (Fox Rhode Island - Rhoda Show in 2011 & 2010, Comcast, CN8 - Backstage with Barry Nolan in 2008)
-Worked as staff accompanist for the vocal department at Berklee
-Leader of "Gaku Murata Quartet" and gigging around New England area
-Music director or guitarist for signed and unsigned artists such as Greg Lato, Heather Schmid, Abandend, Jetro da Silva, Shayne Holland, and Grow
-Have worked as a producer and comfortable with songwriting, arranging, and DAW software.
