We are a drummer and guitarist looking for band members to flesh out a project.
The drummer is 17 years old and has been playing drums for about 7 years, and is capable of many things and all genres. He's also in the MHS drumline and knows his way around a snare and drumset. His double kick technique is great, and he's even started doing blastbeats. We're mostly fans of Prog Metal and Prog Rock. He has a bunch of very well written and extremely detailed 8 minute-ish prog songs, that honestly just blow the mind. Very talented composer.
I'm 19 years old and have been playing bass/guitar for about 10 years as of this August. 5 years of bass, 1 year of 6-string, and the last 4 years with my 8 and 7 string guitars. Got my 8 string for Animals as Leaders kind of stuff 4 years ago, and have continued using my bass techniques in conjunction with guitar techniques. I can play lots of slap/tap based stuff like in math rock or AAL, but also more traditional stuff like Paul Gilbert. Really into 80s shred, Djent, Prog Metal, fusion kind of stuff. I can handle a little bit of Guthrie Govan too. I've got some pieces/ideas written here and there, but the drummer is really the man at actually composing stuff.

We're looking for people who play ANY instrument. Mostly a bassist, guitarist, vocalist. We can find ways to use a violinist, saxophonist, keyboard/pianist as well.
