QR Code Link to This Post Boise progressive Metal band Aterrima is looking for a powerhouse vocalist. Come sing with a newly formed, innovative four-piece (five with you!) Metal project. We want a person to round out music we have already written, as well as someone who brings their own input to the drafting table. Our goal is to be gig-ready by Spring, and to release an EP by Summer.

Requirements:
*Versatility -- we need someone who sings in a number of Metal styles, including cleans (Ã la Black Sabbath or Leprous), high screams (Ã la Emperor), raspy shouts (Ã la early Mastodon), guttural growls (Ã la Gorguts), and aggressive cleans (Ã la Slayer).

*Knowledge of music theory (especially rhythm!) -- Aterrima's music is demanding and complex at times. We are looking for someone who understands his or her melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic role in the band. Proficiency on another instrument is a plus, however, it is optional.

*Ability to write your own parts -- we want someone who can write parts that sound amazing in her/his own vocal range, and that fit the aesthetic of a song and its lyrics. We do write lyrics already, but if you bring your own, great!

*Dedication -- we need someone who can commit to rehearsing twice a week for 2 and a half hours, and who will practice his or her parts at home and come to rehearsal prepared and on time.

*Professionalism -- we want a vocalist who is laid back and easy to be around, but who is also willing to work hard to create awesome music. Punctuality and communication are a must!

*Creativity -- we write collaboratively, and we want to hear your ideas!

Please prepare to cover "Insipid 2000" by In Flames and "Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath as an audition. We will jam these songs out together and chat about the future of band.
