We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in disaster recovery and business continuity, authorized to work in US without visa for the duration of this project and must have excellent communication skills.

Project Description: Our client's various mission critical systems are at risk with complete dependency on HQ data center. Over the past few years, technology has installed various redundant systems at other data center, but not all critical systems have a redundant system at this recently established data center.

Our client requires adequate protections to be established to assure the continuity and recovery of the business following the loss of systems that are critical to the operations of a business unit. This project defines acceptable methods and measures for business continuity and disaster recovery planning, leveraging a risk-based analysis in order to prepare for and maintain the continuity of client's operations in case of the loss of key business system.

Scope of the project:
1) Category all IT systems based on their criticalities to the business units.
2) For mission-critical systems, purchase redundant network, server, and storage equipment and application licenses for the recently established data center.
3) Configure and test these mission critical systems at the recently established data center.
4) Develop procedures for periodical disaster recovery test.

Roles and responsibilities:
1) To develop and execute project plan based on technology requirements.
2) Is responsible for on time completion of timelines, scheduling, tracking, reporting, risk analysis, cost management, change management, evaluation and control of the overall project.
3) To work with business units to categorize all IT systems based on their criticalities and set recovery priorities.
4) To work with technical team to design site redundancy or failover for mission-critical systems.
5) To work with contracts and procurements department to purchase redundant network, server and storage equipment and application licenses for mission-critical systems.
6) To work with technical staffs to develop disaster recovery plan for mission-critical systems.
7) To work with technical staff to configure and test the disaster recovery plan for mission-critical systems.
8) To develop standard operating procedures for periodical disaster recovery test.
