I do quality work on bicycle wheels:
>IMPORTANT NOTES: You must bring the QR skewer or the through-axle with the wheel to ensure that I can hang it on the truing stand. If your wheels require a special proprietary spoke wrench you must bring that also!
>complete retensioning, dishing, and truing $18/wheel
>broken spoke replacement (includes complete retensioning and retruing) $25
>cup-and-cone wheel bearing adjustment (ball bearings) $8/wheel--this includes adding new grease, although the old grease is not removed.
>cup-and-cone hub overhaul (dismantle, degrease, new grade 25 ball bearings, new waterproof bearing grease, reassemble, adjust)-- $15/fronthub and/or $20rearhub. NOTE--if upon disassenbly, degreasing, and inspection the axle cones and/or cups are found to be scored/pitted and need to be replaced, there will be a $10 evaluation fee per wheel even if the customer chooses not to have the wheel rebuilt.
>complete wheel building/rebuilding $39/wheel labor. NOTE- this is lacing, tensioning, dishing, and truing the spokes--no hub bearing work is involved.
>I cut and thread my own Sapim (made in Belgium) stainless steel spokes, black or silver, 2mm straight gauge or 2-1.8-2 double-butted, with silver-colored 14mm brass polyax nipples.
$1 (straight, silver), $1.10 (straight, black), $1.15 (double-butted, silver), $1.25 (double-butted, black) each.

"A complete deal- precision as well as quality! I use my bike to commute to work and I had a broken spoke emergency. I emailed Clark at 6pm, dropped off the wheel at 7pm. He replaced the broken spoke, trued and tensioned the wheel and had it ready for me to pick up at 5am the next morning so I could get to work. Very reasonable fee. Highly recommend. Also the Chain-L lube is the best! I will be doing service with Clark for an unforseable amount of time or till I retire off my biking "which is never". Please support this amazing small shop man."
