You are proposing that the poor, many like those workers at Wal-Mart, working full time and being paid pennies per hour by the richest family in America (maybe the world) should pay the same rate as the Walton Family?
That would cause the entire lower middle class and the poor to be eating out of trash cans and sleeping in the streets, and/or living in debtors prisons.
