First Aid - The course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies. Through an instructor-led classroom skill session you will have the opportunity to practice and demonstrate skill competency required for certification..Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate for First Aid valid for two years. Bloodborne Pathogens training certification is designed for those who risk on-the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids, the course teaches how bloodborne pathogens such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS are spread. You'll also learn how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. After taking this course, be sure to talk to your employer about your workplace's specific policies and procedures.Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year. No written exam.

Certificates - The American Red Cross makes certification fast, simple and easy. With Red Cross Digital Certificates you get anytime, anywhere access to your certificates to print, share, and download wherever and whenever you like. Each digital certificate has its own unique ID, making it easy to confirm authenticity and validity. Each certificate meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm employee certifications. There is no need to carry printed certificates around anymore! In certain cases, certification of skills is a job requirement. For example, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required if you are an EMT or a designated emergency responder at your work. In other cases, Red Cross certification is a way of demonstrating that you are prepared for a wide range of emergencies -- in your personal life and in activities such as coaching, youth organizations, etc. Class participants and employers can visit redcross.org/confirm and enter the ID found on the digital certificate (or scan the QR code with a standard QR reader using a smart device) to access a copy of the valid certificate.

Access Your Digital Certificate - If you received an e-mail from the Red Cross after your class, it includes a link to your digital certificate. If you did not receive an email visit: redcross.org/getcertificate. Your digital certificate is included as part of your course, and you can access it for free any time. Should you require a certificate mailed from the American Red Cross, an $8 shipping and handling fee is charged for each certificate. You will receive your certificate at to the address you provide within ten (10) business days.

Continuing Education Units
Healthcare providers, firefighters, coaches, college students, social workers, teachers, members of law enforcement and other professionals who need continuing education units to maintain licensure or certification can obtain CEUs through American Red Cross training. We are approved to award CEUs in Preparedness and Health and Safety Services courses. The American Red Cross has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). The following class offerings at ISI are eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) after training has been completed. Continuing Education Units may be obtained for an additional fee. Please refer to the CEU price list at http://www.redcrossstore.org/category/id/34. Students should verify with their appropriate accrediting organization that CEUs received from taking Red Cross courses will be accepted.


Corporate Clients & Other Group Training
Get and keep your staff certified! ISI's Red Cross training certification classes meet OSHA guidelines along with other professional and regulatory standards. Whether you need training for a small group of staff -- or need large group training across multiple locations, we provide flexibility and convenience with training options to meet your needs.
Classroom -- Provided at your location and convenience by Red Cross instructors for 10 or more employees.
Online and Blended Learning -- Courses may be taken in combination for time and cost convenience. Courses that require physical skills practice in a "blended learning" format is taught online and the skill portion is practiced in a classroom setting.
Community classes -- If you need training for less than 10 employees, you can send them to one of our community.
