Omaha DEVO is a community-based, summer program to develop boys and girls of all abilities, aged 5-18, in the exciting sport of mountain biking. The program is arranged in a building block style that allows kids to learn the skills they need and gain confidence on their bikes in a positive, encouraging environment. We have a talented group of experienced mountain bike riders graciously donating their time to coach our youth.

Omaha DEVO will be running one summer-long, 9 week session from June 1 - July 27 for all age groups (U10, U14, and U19). Groups will ride at both Tranquilty Park (NW Omaha) and Swanson Park (Bellevue), with practices at both parks each Monday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Family rides will be organized each Friday night at rotating venues - this is a great opportunity for our riders to experience other parks. Opportunities to learn about bike maintenance, trail maintenance and other topics will be available if there is inclimate weather.

The DEVO Dirt Militia is back and better than ever! This group will be for riders that want to expand their horizons and compete in local and regional races throughout the summer (mountain bike) and fall (cyclocross). This group will practice at a wider range of parks throughout the area that will allow them to tackle some additional, more challenging trails. This group is open to all; riders should be able to successfully complete one full, unassisted lap at Swanson Park in about 45 minutes.

Parents, please note: Monday night practices are for our registered riders only. All are welcome to ride on Friday nights, though - we know that your kids will be anxious to show off the skills they have mastered!
