Baxter is a sweet ridgeless ridgeback (yes, they can be ridgeless) looking for a forever family. He turned 4 in September. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He is house and crate trained and knows sit, stay, lay, shake and leave it. He is about 85 pounds so he would be best with older children as he may knock down young children on accident when he gets excited (He has been great with our young children but they have grown up around big dogs). He MUST be an only dog because he has gotten into fights with house mates when he felt they were a threat to us. You MUST have a fully fenced yard with a 6 foot fence. He will come with his collar and leash, enough of his food to properly transition to a new food, his food bowl, some treats, all vaccine records and the rest of the heartworm prevention he has at the time of rehoming. There is a small rehoming fee of $75. A home check will be done and must be able to provide a vet.
